Why am I not able to delete acquisition(s) / contact(s) / or disposition(s)?

The ATF requires that "All data entered into the computer system must be recorded into the database and cannot be capable of being edited or modified at a later date without generating an audit trail. The software must retain any correction of errors as an entirely new entry, without deleting or modifying the original entry. The system may allow for entries in a notes column to explain any correction."

This is the reason that EZ Arms Keeper does not allow deleting records that are entered into the system. They are used to maintain an audit trail. However you are able to edit / modify individual entries if you have made a mistake. However, the original entry will be kept unchanged to meet this BAFT requirement.

There is one exception where you are allowed to delete a contact and this is if it has not yet been used in an Acquisition or Disposition transaction.
