Your data can be exported a number of different ways:

• File->Export
• File->Backup
• Reports->Bound Book

You can Export / Backup the data into two formats (.csv and .ffl):

• The .csv format is an ASCII Human Readable format. Note: This format only contains the ATF bound book information and is not a complete backup.
• The .ffl format is a binary format and is a self contained complete backup of all the bound book information.

Another way to export data is to use the Bound Book Report. This will allow you to export the report to .csv, .xls, and .pdf and is human readable but not a complete backup of the bound book information.
